I studied Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of South Florida. I am also a Certified Rehabilatation Counselor (CRC) and have worked with many different populations including families, individuals, couples, children, clients with Substance-related Disorders, homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless clients, as well as our nation’s Veterans. I started this blog as a way to capture moments and share what I have seen, learned, and experienced. My hope is that these stories, examples of life lessons, and counseling situations will assist others to create dialogue, and offer encouragement and motivation to help you live the life you truly want.
Hearing others share their stories is an honor and gives me an incredible appreciation of the human spirit. People are amazing, awe-inspiring beings, we sometimes need to be reminded of that.
